The CMHC Foundation is a private non-profit supporting organization for the publicly funded Connecticut Mental Health Center. Since 1993 the Foundation has been securing and managing charitable resources to improve the wellbeing of the people CMHC serves and to help CMHC achieve excellence and extend its impact in the community. Founded in 1966 CMHC is a landmark partnership between the State of Connecticut and Yale University and one of the first community mental health centers in the country.
