Catharine Duman, PhD, Vice President
Catharine Duman’s interest in the biology of mental illness began during her study of neuropharmacology in graduate school. She has since taught several courses on the pharmacology of mental illness and drug addiction and currently is an Associate Research Scientist in the Yale Department of Psychiatry, working in the basic research division at CMHC. Her belief in the value of financial and social support as part of successful mental health care has motivated her involvement in the CMHC Foundation where she has been active in education and outreach efforts.
